Driving Miss Daisy is a new Companion Driving Service in Barnstaple and the surrounding areas of North Devon.
We offer a safe, friendly and reliable service for children, the elderly, vulnerable and anyone who is unable to drive but wishes to remain independent.
We are a trusted service offering more than transportation and we care about making every journey a pleasure for our customers. All our drivers are Enhanced DBS Certified, Private Hire Licensed, First-Aid trained and Dementia Friends. We also have a wheelchair accessible vehicle as part of our service.
We will help with:
• Trips to the doctor, hospital, podiatrist, hairdresser, and any other appointments you have made
• Organising and accompanying on social outings, friends welcome
• Shopping assistance as needed, especially helpful if there are several stops to make
• Supporting clients with special needs
• Delivering children safely to and from school or activities
• Taking pets to the vet
We are prepared to travel further afield, e.g. hospitals, airports, holiday transfers, school term transfers etc.
